OK. This should be interesting. I have installed ScribeFire and hooked it up to the blog on this site. Will this work? I'm so excited ... actually, I'm just writing this post to test out various settings. No, my other posts will not contain just drivel -- maybe only 75% drivel. The rest, however, will be "Pulitzer Prize"-level stuff.
The funny thing is that it's quite difficult to come up with lots of drivel to fill these test posts. Sure, I could cheat and simply generate tons of so-called "lorem-ipsum" text (there is a great Firefox plugin for that here). No, I'm going to do it the hard way: I will actually write this stuff. I will write whatever comes to mind. Who cares if this makes sense, or not. Who cares if the images that I will insert in this article are even remotely related to this article? Who cares if I ponder the origins of the universe, or even muse about the meaning of life? Actually, that's depressing!
I will pretend that this well-reasoned, finely tuned, tweaked and scrubbed, and linguistically polished article will be read by thousands, perhaps even millions of people. Yes, I will lie to myself!
So, a few paragraphs ... and I'm done for today. Whoever said that blogging was difficult obviously didn't know what he/she was talking about. All you have to do is type, post, and hope for the best.
